No. Visitors are not allowed to bring food inside the Nairobi Safari Walk. Kenya Wildlife Service prohibits outside food to prevent littering and to protect the animals within the facility. Snacks and refreshments are, however, available at the entrance kiosks and nearby cafés.
The Nairobi Safari Walk is located adjacent to Nairobi National Park and offers a raised boardwalk through habitats featuring lions, leopards, and rhinos in secure enclosures. It serves mainly as a conservation education centre, not a picnic ground.
Opening hours mirror the national park — 6 AM to 6 PM daily. Entry fees are KES 300 for East African adults and USD 25 for non-residents.
Visitors planning a combined visit can choose the Nairobi Package, which includes the park, orphanage, and Safari Walk for KES 1,300 (EA citizen) or USD 105 (non-resident).
For an extended experience, book the Nairobi City & Safari Walk Tour.
