DAY 01

On arrival at JKIA, you will meet our driver-guide who will drive you to a hotel for an overnight stay. Accommodation is based on bed and breakfast.

DAY 2

After breakfast, depart at 0700HRS and drive towards the famous Tsavo East National Park via Voi gate. Check-in for lunch at a lodge. Combine a late evening game drive with a night game drive to find an Aardvark, hunting dogs, leopard, and honey badgers. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

DAY 3

Depart after breakfast for the game drive of the day to find Oryx, kudu, and various bird species. Return for lunch in the afternoon at leisure. Optional night game drive. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

DAY 4

Early breakfast, then depart for Taita Hills in search of Taita Thrush among other birds. We will carry picnic lunch boxes with us to have more hours. Late evening drive back to Voi town with dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge.

DAY 5

Depart after breakfast, check in at a Diani in time for lunch. After lunch, the afternoon is at leisure, awaiting to see the bushbabies in the evening. Dinner and overnight at a hotel.

DAY 6

After early breakfast, depart for Shimba Hills National Reserve, “Paradise of the sable antelopes.” Also home to various bird species such as Red-necked Spur Fowl, Croaking Cisticola, and Zanzibar Red Bishop. Return to the hotel for late lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7

Depart after breakfast, pass Mombasa City as you drive to Watamu. Check in for lunch at a beach hotel, awaiting a night game drive at Arabuko Sokoke Forest in search of the four-toed elephant shrew, Golden-rumped elephant shrew, Sokoke owl, and Caracal. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8

Depart for a morning game drive and a visit to Mida Creek. Return for lunch at Watamu, at a restaurant of your choice, followed by a relaxing afternoon at the hotel. You may opt for another night game drive. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 9

Departure will be after breakfast at 0700HRS to check in for a visit at Tana River Primate Reserve in search of the Crested mangabey monkey and the Tana River red colobus monkey. Later, continue with your drive to Mwingi town. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Mwingi.

DAY 10

An early breakfast, then depart via Meru and check in time for lunch at a lodge in Samburu National Reserve. Evening game drive at 1600hrs to find Beisa oryx, Gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and wild dogs. Return to the lodge at 1830hrs. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 11

An early morning game drive is from 0600 hrs until 0800 hrs, then back for breakfast, or your guide may plan for you to depart having taken breakfast and be back to the lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure, followed by another game drive from 1600hrs to 1830hrs for more search of Grevy's Zebra, striped hyena, Caracals, Somali dwarf mongoose, desert warthog, and Gunther's dik-dik. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 12

At 0730hrs, depart after breakfast and head to Mount Kenya. Drive via Sirimon gate for a short hike towards The Old Moses Point. Rare animals such as Sykes monkeys, Red-fronted duiker, and birds such as Scarlet-tufted sunbird, and Hartlaub's turaco are found. Check-in for lunch and afternoon at leisure. Dinner will be at around 1930hrs, followed by a short night walk around the cottage in search of the rare Crested rat, Pouched rat, and Greater Galago. Overnight at cottages.

DAY 13

Depart at around 0630HRS after breakfast and carry picnic lunch boxes for a game drive at Solio Game Sanctuary for an opportunity to see both White and Black Rhinos, leopards, among other wildlife. Later in the evening, drive back to Aberdares National Park. Check-in at a hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 14

After breakfast at 0800HRS, embark on a full-day game drive at Aberdares National Park with picnic lunch boxes. This park provides an opportunity to encounter Giant forest hog, Bongo, Bohor reedbuck, melanistic leopard, and various types of duikers. Later in the evening, drive to a country club. After dinner, you have a chance for a short walk at night to find the rare rats within the hotel premises. Dinner and overnight at the country club.

DAY 15

Breakfast followed by check out to Nairobi. Your guide will arrange for lunch and dinner at a restaurant in Nairobi.
